Dialogue
We all know teenagers like to answer the questions of their parents with as few words as possible. Yes, no, okay. Here are some suggestions to open up a dialogue about the P.A.R.T.Y. Program with your teen.
Ask them about their experience at a P.A.R.T.Y. Program session:
- What is The Stupid Line?
- What is The "A" word?
- What are the drunk goggles? Who wore them? What did the students have to do while wearing them? What did the scenario teach you?
- What is the Contract for Life? Did you bring a copy home?
- What did you do at lunch?
- What happened during the Mass Casualty Incident exercise?
- What part of the P.A.R.T.Y. Program session had the most impact on you? Why?
- What will you remember most about the P.A.R.T.Y. Program, or a message it relayed?
- What did the Injury Survivors talk about at the end of the program day?
"I think it will improve my relationship with my parents, and help me through my teen years." ... Student
